Robert, the new CFD ambulance is O.O.S. because it was involved in an accident. Had nothing to do with the quality of the vehicle. Just for reference it was Amb. 23.

I heard Chicago already has a new ambulance oos. Cheapest isn’t always the best. Also pierce makes very good apparatus.

yeah mike heaven forbid they purchase it from someone they wanted to instead of the lowest bidder. Cheap isnt always the best

Hanover Park cheated their taxpayers and the bidders who were not awarded the contract on the purchase of this rig. You may ask, why? Pierce wrote the spec for this vehicle. Seven different companies submitted bids. Pierce wasn’t even the lowest bidder and was still awarded the contract. This is an example of Chicago style politics.
