For the new engine that is due for delivery early next year, the shift away from seagrave was mostly due to the desire for a body size that seagrave does not offer that E-one does. There were also some customization features desired on the vehicle that seagrave does not provide. Not sure anyone was truly unhappy with the seagrave apparatus that they currently run, it sounds like it was more of a they weighed the pros and cons and went with the manufacturer who could best meet their needs.

Agreed in that Eone makes a superior product with aluminum cab and main.. There is absolutely no need to lug around the weight of steel, especially stainless steel, on a tower. They will definitely get their use out of this putting the main up once every three years at a fire just for a show.
