This from Larry Shapiro;
While driving through western/central New York state in the town of Warsaw, I stopped a the firehouse since the doors were open. Several of the apparatus had been purchased used including this 1993 E-ONE Hurricane tower ladder from Addison.
They also have a Spartan / McGinley pumper formerly from Lebanon, IN.

There are not a lot of these out there. I believe Dyer, IN has one with the H style outriggers. I agree with you Ray. The cab being the same height as the body is a very clean look.

I’ve aways been intrigued by the E-one Hurricane cab matching the body height.
Was the Hurricane cab intentionally made lower to match the body or is there a specific reason for the low profile? I assumed it was done to allow newer equipment to fit in older houses. Any thoughts on this design would be appreciated.

Thanks admin very interesting. Must just be the HP 105 that has the out and down type outriggers? The HP 105 must not be nearly as popular as the HP 95 because that’s the first out and down outrigger I’ve ever seen on an e-one.

The HP105 is no longer available. Just HP95 and HP100, each with slightly different underslung jacks

I don’t remember ever seeing and e-one with H style outriggers? Anyone know when they switched from H style to underslung?

Nice pictures. Perhaps looks are deceiving but that looks like a huge station.
