  Smart choice on the part of MFD. Makes it easier for the rigs to fit in the firehouses & ER ambulance bays. Spacious and well thought out. I hope it serves them well for a long time/

  These rigs are 2′ shorter and fit easier into Stations 13 & 28.

  Well Harry perhaps the GM/IHC came in at less cost than FORD, FREIGHTLINER, or RAM. I guess it’s kind of a balancing act. Standardization is nice but the bottom line often dictates having something different.

  Compact and tons of cabinet space. Somebody who actually works in the back of an ambulance had a hand in this design. Nice rig.

  The reason they went with these is because of the size of the ambulance matters in those houses.
