Well, we have good news and bad news! Bad news first…we currently do NOT have any Oak Forest fire apparatus “in-service”.

Our neighbors to the west, Village of Tinley Park Public Safety and Orland Fire Protection District, IL are each letting us use an engine to keep from a break in emergency services.

The good news, we’re being told we have allocated funds and a thumbs up to purchase new fire apparatus! We are happy and hoping to move forward with that process as quickly as we can.
