I was never really a fan for the KME product but I really appreciated the company because it was family owned. Same with Ferrara, it was an okay product but owned by a person rather than some huge conglomerate. I believe towards the end of the KME era before the REV Group bought them, they were the biggest family owned manufacturer in the country. Some good things have come out of the REV Group purchases but I do miss the way things were when pretty much all the apparatus companies were family owned.
