Orland Fire Protection District history

This from Mike Summa for #TBT:

For TBT-This was the Orland FPD’s #121, a Ford/? tanker from the late 80’s or early 90’s.  I do not know any specs on the truck.  If anyone knows the history of this unit please feel free to do so.  Enjoy and comment.

  Crab, it could be a Towers body.

  Could be wrong but this FORD chassis appears to be mid the late 1970’s. Have no idea who the body was built by.

  Mike, it was their tanker. I believe it had 1500 gallon tank. It was gone by 1989 after Orland took delivery of their big order of rigs (3 engines, 1 snorkel, 1 tower ladder, 1 heavy rescue.)
