The website was updated with a few new photos as well as the new Tanker 1 today to Keene, NH. THANK YOU to the great guys in Norwood and Foxborough for their help with pictures today!!
The red platform without lettering is the “New” Tower 25 for Foxborough FD. This was purchased by FFD after their Ladder 26 was rear ended on I-495 a little more than a month ago. The Tower previously served in Naperville, IL. It will be lettered by Foxborough soon.
thanks Danny

TC I’m not sure if that’s sarcasm or not about tower 9. The city did spend over a million dollars on parts and shop fees for one of the 85 e-ones. I don’t have the fleet number off hand.

Mike, you are referring to the Pierce tower, they were running as Truck 9.

Moe, there was something on the internet a few years ago about how much the city spent on maintaining one of the 85 e-one towers. It was well over 1 million dollars. Several engines, transmissions, hydraulic repairs. Etc.

Chicago ran their ’85 E-ones forever and worked them hard. I’m sure this unit will have plenty of life left in her. It still looks sow room new.

That is a great site. Plenty of apparatus eye candy on there too.
Impressive E-ONE there.
