Of interest … ambulance donated to Ukraine

Excerpts from hoiabc.com:

The El Paso Emergency Squad in Woodford County posted on its Facebook page that a former El Paso EMS ambulance was delivered and crossed the border into Ukraine.

The ambulance has more than 200,000 miles on its odometer, and it’s filled with donated donated medical supplies.

EMS crews in Ukraine will decide where and how to use the El Paso ambulance.

Nice of them to donate it to a country in desperate need. Crabby, don’t live up to your screen name. It’s their choice where to donate it and there is always the possibility it was no longer up to US DOT or some other standards that would prevent it from being used as an ambulance.

So they couldn’t find a town here in America to take it first?

Naperville also has an old ambulance that originally was going to be donated to Cancun, but due to issues with getting it to Mexico, is now being donate to Ukraine.
