There’s no way that mileage is correct….right? I find it very hard to believe that thing only has 2,819 miles on it.

We have to remember that most apparatus end up as scrap and only a few are rescued and restored as a collectors item and parade piece.

This truck was originally assigned to Tower Ladder 5. My father was on this rig when it was brand new a year after joining the fire department.
