Fire Chief Brian Mohr will retire next month after nearly 30 years with the Bloomington Fire Department. He began his career with the fire department and 1991. He was promoted in 2011 to shift commander and assistant chief. In 2013, he became a training officer and was promoted to fire chief in 2015.
An interim fire chief will be named in the near future.

BACKGROUND / DESCRIPTION: Notice is herby given by the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Crestwood, Cook County, Illinois that the Village of Crestwood Fire Department is seeking bids from qualified
manufacturers / authorized dealers or agents for a light duty rescue fire apparatus (non-walk-in), with the intention of
purchasing one. The department has created a list of specifications for a light duty rescue fire apparatus (non-walk-in).
No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals, without consent of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Crestwood, Illinois for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of closing of proposals. The Village of
Crestwood reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Bid packets outlining the
department’s specifications for this item and required vendor information will be available after 8 AM on Thursday, 17
September 2020. Sealed bids must be submitted by 12 PM on Friday, 9 October 2020. No sealed bids shall be accepted
after this date and time. Bids shall be unsealed and recorded at a meeting administered by the Village Clerk, which will
be held on Friday, 9 October 2020 at 2 PM at the Crestwood Village Hall, located at 13840 S. Cicero Ave. Crestwood, IL
