Working house fire in Wayne, IL – 6-15-19

This from John Tulipano:

At approximately 06:20am (6/15/19), the West Chicago FPD was dispatched to a house fire at 31w311 Prairie in Village of Wayne. As companies went en-route they were advised by DuComm that a Wayne Police Officer found the fire and heavy smoke and flames were visible.

This area in non-hydranted and a tender operation was established on Smith road north of the fire building.

CFD sends units to assist on week-long deployment in downstate Illinois to assist in flood rescue and recovery at Hardin and Jerseyville. Both towns hard hit by flooding and a MABAS request was issued for assistance. OFF DUTY CFD members are now on the road heading south.
