well hopefully they go with the 107 straight stick or 110 tower single axle ascendant

Just as Martin said, Naperville has wonderful firefighters! Always going above & beyond to the call of duty as well as their strong desire to accommodate the needs of the enthusiasts. Pierce is currently the top contender for the replacement aerial.

Naperville has some of the most helpful guys in the area. They will go above and beyond for you not only on calls but also when you visit.

well back in 2006 I photographed 6 eone then in 2007 the computer crashed so I don’t have them anymore but I had 6 06 eone engine pics then however Naperville is large so I guess they could have got rid of them or they are reserves i will likely go and see the new eone engine and i will ask what they have and what makes u think or know they are not buying eone for the ladder i don’t go to Naperville to often simply because the larger the dept the least helpful the guys are because of calls and training and so on it will be nice to see the new ladder

Harry I don’t think you can say most of the fleet are E-ones when they’re not. They have more Spartans than E-one. The new truck is not going to be an E-one.

As of right now:
Spartan: Truck 1, Truck 5, Engine 2, Engine 6, Engine 7, and Squad 8.
E-One: Engine 3, Engine 10, Reserve Truck 11 and the Reserve Engine(s) (And the training engine if you count that)
Pierce: Engine 4 and Truck 9.
The only one I am unsure of is whether Engine 6 got the old Engine 3 or if they still have their E-One. I am also unsure about how many reserve engines they have.

well in 2006 they bought several eone engines
then 2010 spartan engines and 2 or 3 trucks
a pierce tower in 2006 and a new pierce and eone engine last year and now another eone this year with a truck on the way tbd

Not going to be a crimson. Truck one witch is crimson is a P.O.S. The ladder works when it fell like it. It is down alot. The Naperville guys don’t like it because the ladder works on unknown use.
The crimson people won’t help ot fix.

Naperville’s new tower is probably going to be a Pierce. Most of their fleet is not E-one. They have some e-one along with Pierce and Spartans/ERV/Crimson.

I would say that sounds likely because that is a 2006 pierce and then it will likely be a spare hopefully they will go eone because most of there fleet is eone

They are also speccing out a new aerial. Not sure what manufacturer it will be from (although they do consider Pierce and E-One to be of similar quality), but it will most likely replace Truck 9.

looks nice it appears Naperville has a lot of older rigs still needing replacement but with 3 in the last 1 year or so that is awesome
