Classic Battalion 13! I used to stay up late at night listening to Tommy run the west side on my trusty Radio Shack scanner. Too bad you can’t buy a “Best to Batt. 13” CD, I would take one in a heart-beat.

He always gave a colorful size-up, no matter how crazy the fire scene was, and as calm as could be. His experience was invaluable being on the Westside his entire career. Wish I could’ve rode with him. RIP Chief Skipper
