Does Squad 55 act as an engine company in it’s first due area since it is not with an engine?
Will they take off a line when they arrive at a stucture fire or will they do forcible entry and wait for the another engine to pull a line? Normally I would figure they could split the crew to do forcible entry and if necessary take off a line however they would probably need a 5-man crew and nowadays most suburban departments are lucky to have a crew of 3. How many are normally assigned to the squad?
If the second piece is needed do they have one of the crew from the first piece drive it or does the second piece have a dedicated driver?
Is the second piece still in service or does the new rig replace both pieces?
