This from Jeff Braun, Jr:
Here are some photos of an E-One Demo Quint (2017 E-One Cyclone 100′ RM Single Axle Quint) visiting the Berwyn Fire Department, this rig was brought to the fire station due to Berwyn’s interest in buying a new truck company to replace the current Seagrave. The department is leaning towards Pierce for the new truck, but still wanted to view all of their options. Thanks -Jeff Braun Jr. (COUNTY-WIDE FIRE PHOTOGRAPHY)

Stay away from the Pierce! E-One among other manufacturers make a much higher quality product than Pierce!

My understanding is that particular eone is 500 pounds tip load wet or dry. No limitations. What did the guys think? I know the ascendant has quite a few limitations

The Metro 100 true truck will fit in the house, meaning no pump on it for that rig sits at about 10ft 8 inches. But I think Berwyn like their Pierce rigs.

Doubt if they will buy a quint, Truck 904 has always been a straight truck since at least the 48 Tractor driven Pirsch era

It is a sharp looking truck! However it does not look like it would fit into the station!

You can’t beat the jack spread on that E-one in a crowded street scenario. Plus E-one aerials have never collapsed.

This rig was also brought to Stickney in our search for a new Truck company. Pierce’s Ascendant, E-One Metro, 100’ Tower Ladder, and Rosenbauer Tower Ladder are in the running so far.
