The Quads are different departments divided into 4 areas of the County. The Co Op is mainly Quad 2 and they share the resource with whoever needs it.
For those who didn’t here are the FD’s in each Quad
Quad 1- Beach Park, Newport Twp, Zion, Winthrop Harbor, Gurnee, Waukegan, North Chicago
Quad 2- Antioch, Lake Villa, Round Lake, Fox Lake, Grayslake
Quad 3- Lake Zurich, Wauconda, Barrington
Quad 4- Countryside, Libertyville, Mundelein, Knollwood

Is that was the Lake County Quads are? Different co-ops?

The lake county co-op is is between grayslake, fox lake, round lake, Antioch, lake villa and Newport. They are sharing certain equipment like an ARFF, command van, rehab unit and run a fire academy and EMT class. Basicly it’s trying to do cost sharing.

Golly that’s a nice, black roof.

This one is their truck. The other truck is part of the northern lake county co-op and that is still white and red. The white and red pierce is Mundelein’s old truck.

They didn’t buy it from anyone. They’ve had it for a while and got it repainted about a year ago

Which suburb did they purchase that truck from?

Wow. I sure would hope that the Chicago FD gets black roofs.
