Thanks for posting. Just curious, new rigs always look bigger and heavier than the out going rigs. Does anyone know how often they test and if necessary, replace or reinforce the apparatus floors? Engine 125’s house was designed when Seagrave or Aherns-Fox open cab engines were in use and 68 (I presume that was 68’s house in the photo) was opened when Engine 68 was a cab over engine Ford with no jump seats. Thanks in advance for any responses.

No this was from the first batch of three engines and did not have chevrons on the front bumper. The second batch of three just put into service all have them. As do the squad rigs.

Did they remove the chevrons off the front bumper on that latest batch of engines?
