Fred, I disagree with you entirely. A public adjuster possibly. Any of the “normal” big name insurance companies i’ve never seen it. Bottom line, broken glass is the least of the problems. When was “your time”?

This is the most hideous display of firefighting I think I have ever witnessed. Were all of the floors inside stolen prior to the fire?

Scott, Believe it or not there are insurance adjusters out there that are so ignorant that they try to reuse “fired” windows in replacement construction. Caught them a few times in my time.

Windows are replaceable. Do you really think any window remains after being exposed to heat, smoke and fire when the house is rebuilt? Smoke, heat and water thru-out a home change everything.

I know we are not supposed to critique on this site but opening the roof would have helped greatly. And instead of cutting the front of the house off taking the front glass would have caused less damage for the homeowner.
