This from Mike Summa:
Hello,This is East Hazel Crest’s Engine 1670, a 1968 FWD 750/500. This is my idea of a fire engine should look like. I really like this one, and wanted to share. Enjoy!Mike Summa

I grew up watching my father respond on this rig and begging for rides on drill nights. This engine served as the Mutual aid/auto aid engine until the Purchase of Engine 1660 a 1995 E one. This rig is currently owned by a retired member and occasionally makes some appearances to the Homewood 4th of July parade.

We appreciated that.
Milwaukee had several of those back in the 1950’s though the apparatus builder is not known off the top of my head perhaps PIRSCH. They may not have been pretty when compared to a custom rig but they were tougher than a bad steak.
