But then again, a run likely costs so much because some people call EMS for every upset stomach, hangnail, or runny nose.
I do find it somewhat amusing that some people on here find fault with every ambulance that is purchased. Some don’t like the FORD E SERIES chassis. So this department buys one on a heavier NAVISTAR chassis and this one is too costly. I wonder what some people will say if they ever went back to hearse based ambulances that disappeared in the 1970’s or so. That won’t happen but EMT’s need the best equipment regardless. Everybody seems to have different ideas of what the best means.

Just another reason to justify a $1,000 +, revenue generating for the Village ambulance run.
