This from Larry Shapiro:
Village officials and residents attending the May board meeting in Wheeling were shown the new engine and tower ladder that were purchased from Rosenbauer. Additionally, a new graphics package was displayed for the police cars. On a historic note, this is the third tower ladder for the Wheeling Fire Department, and the first rear-mount in 48 years.

Watching Wheeling’s 1994 Sutphen tower ladder on GovDeals. Extended auction time as reserve not met. Currently $24,000 bid.

Are both the engine and tower ladder in service?

It’s also the first non-Sutphen tower ladder that Wheeling has ever purchased. The rigs look Larry and you were lucky to have a very sunny day to photograph them on. I see that Wheeling makes a lot of use of the crosslay which is probably why the rear hose bed is so high as it appears that most of their attack lines are on the triple crosslays.
