House fire in East Chicago, IN 2/18/15

I stopped by East Chicago’s house fire after finishing a job in Whiting. They were already in overhaul, but there was still some light smoke showing. 1200 block of W. 151st st. Ironically, station 2 was less than 500 feet away from this house.

  I am guessing based on quality and that he was just leaving work, GFD, that Brad had a cellphone camera and those suck no matter what at night. Regardless, I think his photos are good, and of the right stuff, just didn’t have the right tool with him. Thanks Brad

  Brad, it is nice to see that some one is covering NWI. However, not to put your efforts down. You need to learn from the other photographers on this site. I used to shoot a lot of photos back in the film days. I was very bad at it. The digital age showed me the way. No one mentors the new guys to the hobby. You are not a threat, you are a asset. keep submitting.
