Tower 7 is in-reserve. The Quint is called Truck 7, it’s only 75′.
When staffing is low, Engine 7 is only in-service Mon-Thurs 8a-4pm. If staffing allows without OT Eng 7 will run a full shift. If not, Eng 7 is out of service all weeknights, Fri, Sat & Sun.

This is correct. The tower was taken out of service due it not having a pump. The truck now runs front line and at times is the only fire suppression apparatus in service at St. 7.

Drew I’ve heard that too but I’m not sure.

I believe EGVFD was running (and still may be) running that quint frontline and not the tower keeping the tower in reserve.
