This a good example of a department educating their community about what they are doing. 2 fires in a day in Cary are a big deal and letting the community know that their department stepped up means something. PR is everything to a department now and they have to maximize POSITIVE exposure whenever possible. Good for them and nice work to save occupied structures; not vacants that are, and should be, allowed to burn to the ground.

Maybe you should post “cities in the south suburb’s then”! So then we can all write “BIG DEAL”! My god, someone took the time to post info about the fires (last I checked this is the forum to do so). So instead of rude comments, post the info! This is just the stuff the web master posted sometime ago about posting ignorant comments on here!

Really 2 fires big deal. Cities in south suburbs ( Harvey,Chicago Heights,Calumet City,Dolton)do that all the time but you will never hear about it!
