Three people, including a Chicago firefighter, were hospitalized after an extra-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in the Buena Park neighborhood.
CBS 2?s Mike Puccinelli reports more than 100 firefighters responded to the 2-11 alarm fire on the fifth floor of an apartment building at 736 W. Buena Av.
The fire broke out around 9:25 a.m.
As heavy flames and smoke erupted from some of the windows on the fifth floor, a Chicago firefighter used an aerial ladder to rescue a man who had become trapped in his apartment.
