Martin Nowak spotted a new Pierce Arrow XT PUC engine for Lisle-Woodridge on the Pierce Flickr site HERE.
Reportedly, this new rescue-style engine will replace both a 2000 E-ONE engine and a 1984 E-ONE heavy rescue at Station 1.

in Lisle we have 2 Pierce engines, 521 is an Enforcer, and 541 is an Impel. And we also have two Pierce trucks, the Dash tower ladder we are replacing and a Dash 100′ stick for 517. The new Pierce Arrow XT will replace our 2000 E-One engine and a 1986 Heavy Rescue.

Doesn’t Lisle have 2 Pierce trucks? What is going to happen with the tower they have now?

Nice looking truck! Does LWFD purchase their rigs through a special purchasing group or straight through Pierce?
