On the site, Truck 51’s photo of their new truck is their previous truck. Shop# E-336 was initially given to Truck 51, but it went back to Crimson and when it returned it was given to Truck 62 (which is correct on the site). Here is a photo of the current Truck 51 which is now using Shop# E-341. It is a 2010 Spartan/Crimson 103′ RM

This from Josh Boyajian:
Companies had a fire Thursday afternoon in the 5800 block of Michigan. Engine 84 arrived and had fire showing from the 3rd floor. They deck gunned it and lead out a line. Truck 51 and 30 had their mains to the roof. I arrived well after the fire was knocked. Here are some shots.

This from Eric Haak:
Here are some shots from yesterday’s working fire on the 5600 block of South Princeton. I got there as the aerial was being raised and, although the 17th battalion reported that he had a fire, I did not see any signs of one when I was walking up. Appeared to be a one room fire on the second floor and as I got to the front of the building, it was mostly out. They held the roof but I believe they did take out the sky light. One nice side note is that a small puppy was rescued by companies who made entry and returned it to a very grateful young girl. Engine 84 had a hydrant, Engine 47 had a line stretched but not charged, and Engine 50 responded as well. I believe one of these companies were returning from fuel at 65th & State which was the reason for the third engine.
