What a beautiful day here in the Village of Robbins at the Robbins Fire Department. Citizens of Robbins, your new ambulance has made its way home as of this afternoon. Another historic moment here in the village as this ambulance was built for the Robbins Fire Department. From the conversation with the manufacturers way back when to it’s delivery today, it’s definitely been a journey. We look forward to the next steps in the process as we continue to move forward in the journey to provide you the citizens, the best that we have to offer!

There’s been administrative problems getting a transport program together. Between their contract with Bud’s ambulance, problems getting billing together, and a rumored issue with medical direction, it hasn’t been able to get off the ground. They have a new chief so hopefully he’s getting some of these wrinkles ironed out.

They already have that nice ambulance that Orland gave them. Why haven’t they started transporting with that one?

Well they bought one so I’m sure they will use it for it’s intended purpose. Unless perhaps I’m missing something here.

Are they even licensed to do ambulance transports?
