This is probably the best engine South Elgin has bought in quite a few years. Curious to know if they aren’t happy with the Rosenbauer or if E-One just came in with a better price. I thought South Elgin usually purchases their brand of choice, not lowest bidder.

I can’t tell based on the pictures, but it doesn’t appear that there is a reflective stripe on the side unless its red and blends in. I like the look without the stripe (assuming it’s not on the truck).
