More details about apparatus changes in 2019 possibly coming with the new fire station been built. Truck 24 will become a Tower Ladder, Tower Ladder 10 will become a Truck. The new E-one Tower does not fit into Engine 4. To make up the loss of a aerial platform in the downtown area and west to California Avenue, the new 137 foot aerial tower will move the truck 7. Making aerial tower one a truck The hope is to have Engine 115’s new station up and running by the end of 2019. What is the email again and to send pictures?

The inbound driveway will be more of an outbound driveway. Although, 2 of the 3 ambulances are in the rear which is smart since they (usually) spend the most time out of quarters than the other rigs.
Also, I noticed there is an outline in the lowest bay of a car in between the 2 ambulances. Is that another Admin/Command car or just a placeholder.

What he is asking is a valid point. If the rumors are correct of two engines, a tower, DDC and three ambos, SEVEN of the eight bays have companies. So much for the drive through bays

It’s fairly common these days if enough land is allowed.
Plus it enhances safety and the fears of some that people may not being paying enough attention while backing in and causing $$$$ damage to both apparatus and building.

I hope this isn’t a dumb question, and maybe I’m looking at these drawings wrong, but what is the point of the inbound and outbound drive? In theory I get it, but with all the apparatus in this house, the likelihood of them all being out at once and actually being able to use the drive as a pull through has got to be pretty low. If I’m reading the drawings right it looks like the engines and tower ladder are gonna have to back around a curve to get back in quarters, then again if it’s 4 bays wide they could possibly pull in and swing around. Thoughts?

Looks like it is going to be a busy house once it is built. Three Ambulances in one station? Interesting. Sounds Ike there will be enough room for 23 firefighters per shift! Where is this going to be again?

Any chance 120 will be the second engine in the house and not 75?
I assume the next move will be to merge 62 and 93 into a new house around 107th and State?
Something tells me that two of the three ambulances will be almost constantly detailed or changed.

With all those companies that’s 23 people a day. They’re gonna need a bigger kitchen and that alarm terminal is never going to be quiet.

Here’s what a detention pond is, versus a retention pond. http://www.lccdnet.org/wp-content/uploads/Ponds.pdf

The most interesting picture was the one of the bay and the proposed rigs. Look like the rumors of E115, E75, TL24, 2-2-5, A29, A5, A76 all being together are somewhat confirmed by that. There’s also 8 officer rooms. Wonder if massing lots if rigs in big firehouses like Europe is going to be a thing nowadays.
