This was Matteson card 2101, Homewood Acres is not on the card. I haven’t heard of them making any mutual aid responses.

What about Homewood Acres? Are they responding for mutual aide? Does anyone know what their current status is? Thank you in advance.

Tom, we just recently went back active. We are currently holding a BOF academy. Soon we will be back with MABAS and assisting.

There were multiple passes due to the Glenwood extra alarm fire happening at the same time.
Matteson Engine 6, Truck 5, and Oak Forest Truck 12 were all on hydrants with both trucks flowing water and several hand lines out.
Engines came from Park Forest, Richton Park, Tinley Park, and Steger.
Mokena responded a squad.
Trucks from Frankfort and University Park.
Ambulances from Monee and Country Club Hills.
Peotone and Crete Township engines and South Chicago Heights ambulance made up the COQ companies. They handled around 7 additional calls during the fire.
