The Bolingbrook Fire Department has been selected to receive a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
The grant, valued at $11,690, will provide a thermal imaging camera with a hot and cold spot tracker and charger. The awarded camera will be used to detect body heat and hot spots in burning buildings, allowing firefighters to quickly locate victims and provide life-saving assistance.
