524 2013 Ford F -450/2014 Wheeled Coach It was a demo prior to purchase
524 will be getting a new 2014/15 Wheeled Coach – Type I with the current 524 going into reserve status

I believe the 2005 Pierce was moved to Station 3 when Tri-State received the new tower ladder.

Any plans this year to replace 2000 Pierce Dash or 2005 Pierce Arrow XT engines?

In response to harry’s original question about whats wrong in the first picture….how about the guy wearing bunker pants at a dive incident? God forbid something should happen and he went into the water, those pants would just weigh him down.

524 is getting the new ambo on order with the newer 524 they have already going into reserve status

There are no current plans to staff a 3rd ambulance not to say that it wont happen if/ when it happens it would most likley go to station #4

Willows old rigs were placed into service with Tri state as spares information on numbering can be found on the other post

Both of the GMC ambos 534-524 are gone were sold.

Engine 521 the pierce is no longer
In service it was sold

Engine 512 the ford was also sold

Ambulance 525 had a accident and was disposed of

The new ambulance on order. Will be placed in service

I remember back in the late 1980’s into the early 90’s, the Milwaukee suburb of West Milwaukee shut down their fire department and contacted with the Ciy of Milwaukee for service and still do so today. Milwaukee got one of the rigs since they were moving into their station anyway. Well, instead of repainting the 1981 PIRSCH quint into MFD colors and logo, they just erased the “West” part of West Milwaukee. I don’t know that thing seemed to work just fine until they got rid of it in the mid 00’s.

With the 2 new ambo’s delivered to Tri-State, did they get rid of the GMC/Hortons formally assigned to 524 and 534. Also according to Fire Service website, Tri-State has a 3rd ambulance ordered. Is this going to be a 3rd rig put in service or a dedicated spare?

Does Tri-State still have the Ford/Alexis (512) and Pierce Arrow (521) reserve engines and International Ambulance 525? Thanks for your responses in advance.

Is the lettering in fact what people are so fired up about here?

Ok, so the lettering wasn’t changed. The boat probably isn’t called out a ton and so what, really? Does it affect the public service of the fire department just because a different name is on the boat?

I like uniformity, but even I think this complaint is a little petty.

512 was 1911 housed at st. 1
542 was 1912 542 housed at st. #4
545 was 1914 housed at station 4
598 was Willow springs boat 1998 housed at station 4
548 brush truck was 1948 housed at station 4
535 EX 1915 is housed at station 2
