9.2L L6 DIESEL. 6 person seating, 3 SCBA seats.
Starts, runs, operates as supposed to, run weekly since taken OOS 7/23. Engine hrs will be higher than 3568 due to this.
75′ Snorkel aerial with 4″ waterway and breathing air both operational and tested by UL in 2023. Aerial hours 1211.7.
1250 GPM Waterous pump. Passed pump test in 2023 pump hours 97.
No tank on apparatus, 2 1 1/2″ crosslays, storage area for up to 800′ of 4″ LDH.
Ladders stay on apparatus, 1 – 35″ 3 piece, 1 – 24′ 2 piece, 2 – 16′ roof ladders, 1 – 14″ roof ladder, 1 – 14′ attic extension ladder and 1 – 10′ folding ladder.
1 onboard Onan Diesel 7500 watt generator, runs off of apparatus diesel tank, powers 2 cord reels and multiple other onboard outlets.
All remaining tools and equipment still on apparatus sold with rig. Tools, poles, fittings, fans etc.
All extra parts and equipment for apparatus will be included in sale along with manuals and service records.
Service done as per maintenance schedules and all testing done annually as prescribed.

As someone who grew up in St. Charles, I can hardly remember this being used much. I am sure it was, and I have seen it at fires back in the day, but it never seemed to be used much. Unlike what Moe said, there is a use for this. Low miles, low hours, well maintained, and garage kept. It very much would be a perfect apparatus for many departments.

Tom is right. CFD should definitely acquire this. With the tower ladders constantly going out of service, they should keep some elevated platforms around for specialty calls so that you don’t have the scenario of Tower 21 going to a fire in Englewood like they did earlier this year.

No thanks. I’m sure Geneva will be thankful that its gone if it’s been replaced with a ladder or a tower. No horizontal reach, limited useful applications., Great when a roller rink or a bowling alley burn down though.

As long as the frame is good on this , this would make for a decent apparatus for a department. Maybe hinsdale should buy this to try out their snorkel theory before dropping 1.7 million.
