We are excited to share with you our newest addition to the City of Sycamore! Join us outside of city hall, 308 W. State Street, tonight at 6pm at the regularly scheduled city council meeting as we show off our new Ladder 1!
 
This purchase comes as a huge enhancement to public safety as it is Sycamore’s first ever aerial apparatus! Stay tuned as we share the timeline of this purchase, including aggressive training our members have been undergoing to put the apparatus in service as soon as possible. Ladder 1 is projected to be officially in service for emergency response in August. A formal public “push-in” ceremony date is TBD.
