From Oak forest fire Facebook page:
It’s been a busy couple weeks for our department. Last week, our vehicle committee did the final inspection on our new ladder truck (T40). And this week, they completed the final inspection on our new ambulance (A39). The truck is a Pierce Ascendant 107-ft (stock truck) and the ambulance is an Osage (custom build). Our vehicle committee puts a lot of hard work into spec’ing out our rigs. The industry is also extremely busy and backlogged with orders for rigs. Our ambulance was ordered immediately following the delivery of our last 2022 ambulance. We’re also hopeful to place an order for an engine (3-4yr lead time) in the next month that will finally bring our fleet up to date. A huge thanks to our dedicated members involved in the process of building the best rigs to provide the best service to our citizens.

Glad to see they are getting new rigs. How old is the aerial ladder this one is replacing?
