Things to like: extra long cab with outside storage, front suction, Hi-Viz brow lights all around, plenty of warning lights to the rear, extra mini bar on cab roof for more intersection coverage, minor black out package. Things not so much: twin bed sized front bumper (could be a foot shorter and still hold a lot of hose), top mount pump ( adds greatly to wheelbase, unless these units spend alot of time on the interstate). Over all pretty cool.

I like top mount pumps and clean cab concepts but the wheelbase on these two engines is quite excessive. I can’t imagine the engineers being happy about the turn radius. I hope it serves them well. E-One makes a good product.

Unnecessarily long. Possibly the worst design I’ve seen for an engine. Even longer than those Dupage county Pierce limos. Who comes up with this stuff??
