The 2nd piece is reported to be on a freightliner, I would assume it would be similar to the current 5-1-1A.

The photos showed more cabs behind them. In total there are 4 cabs, two accounted for and two unaccounted for. I assume they are the second piece cabs.

Bill, if past practice is any indicator it’ll be a commercial chassis box truck, probably with a lift gate. Nothing too fancy.

Pretty neat that they have the scene lighting on the cab. CFD rigs never have anything like that.

Aren’t these 2 piece units? What is the second piece?

That’s interesting that they put brow lights on them. I was thinking the samething Chuck. I think they went with the single axles because they’re also getting a second response piece. I think that was confirmed.

Let’s hope they don’t overload those single axles carrying useless crap they don’t need to.

Looks like they are going to be nice rigs. I hope they hold up to the abuse to the abuse the city puts their rigs through.
When will they be completed and delivered? I am guessing shortly after the new year?
