Michael m I am thinking the same thing that you are. I just seems that they for what ever reason they are just changing the company designation to that of an Engine company once again even though Squad 55 is in reality a rescue/engine. Maybe they are doing it so as not confuse designations among nearby fire departments. You probably know that the nearby Lincolnshire Riverwoods fire departments Squad 51 is more of a Heavy Rescue style rig and even that is not completely true as that rig even has pumping capability. Either way this is only speculation. I did pickup over the last year that Long Grove would like to replace their current house with a newer one further north. Whether they are actually ready to do it is another question however.

Looks like a nice layout. I like the pump panel.

Ok this will be engine 55. Are they going to keep the 17 E-One as a reserve? This looks like a rescue-engine. I am guessing they will run it as a engine and squad?
