It is with heavy hearts that the Elk Grove Village Fire Department announces the passing of Lieutenant Mark Pytlewicz. Lt. Pytlewicz was a dedicated member of our department for 22 years and held many duties including company officer, technical rescue team, honor guard, and so much more.
To honor Lt. Pytlewicz, all fire stations will display bunting, and flags will be flown at half-staff.We ask that you keep his family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts during this difficult time.
