Ok, glad to se they have been able to get new rigs and a new station 31.
Any idea what will be their reserve engine? Did they keep the 08 or will the 10 be their reserve?
I believe once the new station 31 is completed by December, they are going to re-model Highlake Av and make that Station 32? I don’t know if that station will be active or if they will use it for training and get rid of the current 32.
The new station 31 has 4 bays. I am guessing they will keep reserve rigs in the 4th bay. I am guessing they now have a replacement cycle. The current tender 31 is 14 years old.
This new rig will be shorter than the current rig.
My guess is the bought it to help with space. Station 31 is still going to be crowded. Engine, tender, medic, dive, brush plus two reserve rigs at least 5 rigs in the main apparatus bay. The reserve rigs I am guessing will be in the 4th bay.
