Excerpts from wgntv.com:
Franklin Park Fire Department officials said an aggressive initial response from firefighters helped contain a blaze to the upper levels of Sneaker’s Sports Bar and Grill on Grand Avenue. Two people were trapped on the roof and firefighters were able to rescue them with the use of ground ladders.
Two firefighters were taken to a local hospital with heat exhaustion, where they continue to recover from their injuries.
An investigation determined that the cause of the fire was a torch being used by roofers to perform repairs on the building.
No civilians were injured as a result of the blaze.
Thirteen fire departments from across the western suburbs responded to the fire, along with the Bellwood Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

I like how every department feels the need to state they aggressively attacked a fire. FP and their help did a great job here. That being said, I’ve seen more than enough fires on this site to say a lot of departments should be stating “passively” danced around the fire and, due to poor tactics, aggressively burned down not only the original fire building but also those next to it”.
