New engine for Buffalo Grove FD (more)

Below are pictures of the new Engine 26 which was delivered to Station 26 this morning. Over the course of the next several weeks, equipment will be mounted, hose will be bedded, required inspections will be completed and training will take place before the vehicle is placed in service.

  The 2016 E-One will become a reserve, this engine is replacing the 2007 KME engine.

  Mike, this the 4th E-one rig for us. We still have the 2010 Ferrara tower and engine in the fleet.

  Moe, I tried very hard to get an 888, but they wouldn’t bite.

  Is Buffalo Grove’s whole fleet E-One?

  I can tell they have some light geeks on their apparatus committee! Very nice rig!

  What will happen to the 2016? I am guessing that will become the reserve engine?
