This would be 1980 or later. GM started putting the double square to indicate the model and engine type. Prior to that, they used a long rectangle.

A classic example of a once prominent fire apparatus manufacturer which built many bread and butter no frills trucks like this one.If I’m not mistaken the developer of the famous John Bean high pressure fog……..
