Just got told by a member of OFD that the 2010 truck will be getting repaired and should be back in front status by June

Thanks for the clarification. When I’ve seen the engine companies, they have been three but four is great. Why would they go with Pierce for the tower when they have been buying EOne engines recently?

Station 4 is strictly a jump company due to the referendum not passing and it’s 4 on each engine and the truck not 3 and it is not yet known who will be building the new truck most likely It will be Pierce

Pat,
Station 1 – BC, Truck w/3, Ambo w/2
Station 2 – Engine w/3, Ambo w/2
Station 3 – Engine w/3, Ambo w/2
Station 4 – Have an Engine Ambo but not sure on the daily staffing. This may be a jump company on some days depending on the manning.

Brian, what manpower is Oswego running these days out of their 4 firehouses?

Any idea who will be building the new truck? I know they are getting a new engine from E-One. With lead times on apparatus, it will be at least 2 years before they get it.

Tyler that is correct if it’s within the budget they will be fixing up truck one but if it’s not they will just be hanging onto this and awaiting their brand new truck

Michael M & Evan,
This is Ex. Lombard Tower 51. Oswego got the tower through Fire Service Inc.
Supposedly they are gonna fix up their 2010 Truck 1 and make that a reserve once they receive a brand new truck then sell this Lombard tower.

Looks like Lombards old truck.

Glad they were able to get this rig! I wonder where it came from? I would not be surprised if it is Lombard’s old spare. I wonder if they have made a decision on the other truck?
