Definitely not maroon!!! I’d like to say Wheeling red, or reddish orange???

Maybe not maroon but a much darker red.

Harry and Chicagoland,
It doesn’t have any stripes or lettering yet here, Those will break up the red. Alsip’s rigs are all red, so it matches the fleet. They aren’t maroon, that’s for sure.

I meant to say thanks also I think this will replace 2097 the utility as the spec sheet mentions a trailer hitch.

Chief 2000 and Chief 2001 both have matching F series pickups. This will probably go to Station 2 and be run instead of the truck on certain calls.

Harry I gotta agree with you this is an interesting change for Alsip Compared to most of their rigs being a more maroon color but, their only other ford F-series Car 2000 is the same color as this rig so maybe it was to match that.

Nice but too much red

This looks awesome, I wonder where this will be stationed. There isn’t much room at Sta. 2 (With the 2 ambos/Utility/Engine/Truck). Sta. 1 has the 2 engines, 2 ambos, hazmat, and the lot of officers vehicles. My best guess is Sta. 2.
