Mike 16 -4×4 blocks and 2 -4×4 wedges are carried in that compartment. They take a small amount of space, the fan is a fold up battery power (blow hard) fan also takes small space up. The rig is very well thought out and carries only the necessary equipment for the way they operate.

can you tour the Pierce plant? I thought you had to be a firefighter in order to tour the plant?

Love all the clean cab features that are in this vehicle. I wonder how much cribbing they carry on their engines? That one compartment seems small for a fan, cribbing and spot lights! I like how they have a dedicated compartment for their RIT equipment.

Very interesting perspective. Some complain that rigs are so big. Well, you need that to carry all of that equipment otherwise pay for an extra unit just for the extra equipment. Not a big fan of the VELOCITY/IMPEL look but this one really looks great. I always thought the bell goes on the officer side but to each their own. Looked like a tour was going on there huh?
