Not sure on height but Highland Park has some viaducts that I would guess make the purchase of a truck tough. I’ve always thought that the mid mount is lower. I know Oak Park has a low profile rear mount, but seems like most do mid mount when height is an issue.

Mid mounts were often criticized then Pierce came out with this Ascendant and peoples opinions changed.

I see more depts ordering midships are they making a comeback??
