Nice setup inside! This is not a common setup but it must’ve worked out well for them!

The van was replaced because it’s 12 years old and was starting to have regular maintenance issue. It was replaced with a new Ford Transit that has a command area set up in back similar to this old one. It wasn’t kept as a reserve because we needed equipment out of it for the new van and it’s maintenance issues didn’t make it worth while. One of the Explorers serves as a reserve BC vehicle when we need which isn’t often.

FFPM571: Job well done! It looks like the interior and upfit held up great since 2009!

Pretty sure they replaced it with another big van, saw it sitting outside a body shop in Crystal Lake a few months back.

In one of the photos you can see the Chevy Impala in the backround that was used by the
Deputy Fire Marshal. That has since been replaced by Ford Explorer which was one of the Chiefs buggy.
